Red Velvet



With spring shortly approaching, I only have a few more times to wear velvet clothing. Today was the perfect day to pull out my red velvet leggings. I wish they were a little tighter, but they still get the job done. Much to my surprise, I found them in this old lady store (thats what I call it ha ) called Stein Mart that my mom dragged me in for $8.00! It sure bets paying $40 at American Apparel!

After going to the thrift store with my friend, we went to have drinks.

Editorial Inspiration

Not only is the styling flawless, but so is the model. I love her pin up girl curls and bold lipstick. And look at that red bra! Just fab! Im definitely inspired to recreate one of these looks soon.

Dark Blue Chiffon

This top is one of my favorite tops. I just love the way it looks buttoned up with a bra under it. Paired it with my pink leather jacket to do a subtle color block and shiny oxfords for a little something extra. I actually wore this on first day back to school. I know this may sound crazy but I'm glad to be back. I missed school!

All Black

I finally broke down and purchased some JC Litas, and I dont regret it one bit! I love how versatile they are. You can pair them with just about anything to give your outfit a little more edge. Pretty comfy too for a good 3 hours at work. And how cool are these tights? As soon as I seen them in the stockroom at my job, I had to snatch them up! I love how they look like normal black tights in the front, until I turn around of course. Surprise! White stripe!

Here's a little piece of exciting news for me. Last week I just walked into BCBG to look at what they had on sale, and the manager offered me a job! I was so shocked. Sadly, I wont be able to work at The Limited and BCBG together since it's a "conflict of interest." BCBG is offering me more per hour so I'd be crazy not to accept! Plus BCBG is more my style when it comes to clothing. I guess all good things must come to a end. I will miss my coworkers at The Limited :(.

New Years 2012!

Finally, here are some photos from New Years! When I looked over them, I realized that they werent THAT bad. I wish they were better but hey, sometimes you have to work with what you have.

Sorry for the lack of post lately, but my computer stopped working out of no where. I finally got it fixed today thanks to my dad. More photos to come!

Orange Trousers

First I want to say, Happy New Years!! Secondly, living in Texas, you learn to deal with winters that feel like spring. Since we had a nice breeze today with sunny skies, I chose to wear bright colors. And also because I've been wearing alot of black and white lately. Found these orange trousers while shopping with my mom at Marshells for only $20! What a steal right? Matched them with blue pumps to color block, since I havent done that in a while either.

So I wish I had some New Years photos to show you guys, but my New Years sucked and so did the photos I took because I was in a crappy mood. Long story short, me and my friends ended up at this awful bar with only one cute guy, that had a girlfriend! -__-.  Hopefully when my friend and I go out tomorrow, we will have a better time.
